- 1 lb Ground Chicken
- ½ cup Diced Red Bell Pepper
- ½ cup Shredded Carrot
- ¼ cup Chopped Green Onions
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
- 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- ½ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
- 24 Wonton Wrappers
- Vegetable Oil (for frying)
- Sesame Seeds (optional)
- Sriracha Mayonnaise (optional)
- Chopped Cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Brown ground chicken, drain excess grease.
- Sauté bell pepper, carrot, and garlic in the same skillet.
- Add soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, and red pepper flakes (optional). Cook briefly.
- Stir in green onions. Let cool slightly.
- Fry or bake wonton wrappers into taco shells.
- Fill taco shells with chicken filling. Garnish with sesame seeds, sriracha mayo, and cilantro (optional). Serve immediately.
Notes
Use shrimp or tofu for variations. Add honey and sriracha for a glaze. Top with slaw for crunch. Drizzle with peanut sauce for creaminess. Serve as a party appetizer, in bowls with rice, or as ‘nachos’.
