Beef Stir Fry with Noodles and Sticky Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef Sirloin or Flank Steak
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Yellow Onion
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger
  • 8 oz Noodles
  • ½ cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • ¼ cup Water

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles al dente, drain.
  2. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and water.
  3. Stir-fry beef in oil until browned.
  4. Stir-fry bell peppers and onion in the same skillet.
  5. Add broccoli, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry briefly.
  6. Return beef to skillet, add sauce, and stir-fry until thickened.
  7. Add noodles, toss to coat, and serve.

Notes

Add sriracha for spice. Incorporate peanut butter for nutty flavor. Use sesame oil and extra ginger for an Asian twist. Substitute different vegetables or noodles.
