- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
- ½ cup Yellow Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Taco Seasoning
- ½ teaspoon Sea Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 8 Large Flour Tortillas
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup Shredded Lettuce
- 1 cup Diced Tomatoes
- ½ cup Sour Cream or Plain Yogurt (optional)
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in oil, drain excess grease.
- Sauté onion and garlic in the same skillet.
- Add taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook briefly.
- Warm tortillas.
- Fill tortillas with beef filling, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream (optional).
- Wrap tightly and serve.
Notes
Add chipotle peppers for smoky heat, black beans and corn for Southwestern flair, or salsa and avocado for a fiesta twist. Use different cheeses or vegetables for variations.
