Cheesy Rotini with Garlic Butter Beef

  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • ½ teaspoon Sea Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 lb Rotini Pasta
  • 4 cups Milk
  • ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown beef in butter, drain excess grease.
  2. Add garlic, salt, and pepper to beef. Sauté briefly.
  3. Cook pasta al dente, drain.
  4. Make a roux with butter and flour, whisk in milk until thickened.
  5. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Layer pasta, cheese sauce, and beef mixture in a baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly. Let cool slightly and serve.

Notes

Use pepper jack cheese for a spicy kick. Add broccoli for a classic twist. Incorporate mushrooms for earthy flavor. Make ahead of time for convenience.
