- 2 cloves Garlic
- 8 oz Cremini Mushrooms
- 2 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 2 tablespoons Plain Flour
- 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
- ½ teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
- Salt and Black Pepper
- 1 lb Egg Noodles
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 2 tablespoons Chopped Fresh Parsley
Instructions
- Sear chicken in vegetable oil until golden brown. Set aside.
- Sauté onion, garlic, and mushrooms in the same skillet.
- Sprinkle flour over vegetables, stir, and gradually whisk in chicken broth.
- Stir in heavy cream, thyme, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
- Return chicken to sauce and simmer until cooked through.
- Cook noodles, drain, and toss with butter.
- Serve noodles topped with creamy chicken, garnish with parsley.
