  • ½ teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • Salt and Black Pepper
  • 1 lb Egg Noodles
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Fresh Parsley

Instructions

  1. Sear chicken in vegetable oil until golden brown. Set aside.
  2. Sauté onion, garlic, and mushrooms in the same skillet.
  3. Sprinkle flour over vegetables, stir, and gradually whisk in chicken broth.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, thyme, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Return chicken to sauce and simmer until cooked through.
  6. Cook noodles, drain, and toss with butter.
  7. Serve noodles topped with creamy chicken, garnish with parsley.
