- 1 lb Beef Flank Steak
- 1 cup Cornstarch
- 1 Large Egg White
- Vegetable Oil (for deep frying)
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 inch Ginger
- 3–4 Red Chillies
- ¼ cup Soy Sauce
- ¼ cup Rice Wine Vinegar
- ¼ cup Honey
- 2 tablespoons Tomato Ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
- Sesame Seeds (optional)
- Spring Onions (optional)
Instructions
- Coat beef strips in cornstarch and egg white.
- Deep fry beef until crispy, drain on paper towels.
- Sauté garlic, ginger, and chillies in oil.
- Add soy sauce, vinegar, honey, and ketchup. Simmer until thickened.
- Stir in sesame oil.
- Toss crispy beef with sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions, serve hot.
Notes
Adjust chilli amount for desired heat. Use honey garlic sauce for milder flavor. Add orange marmalade and sesame oil for a citrus twist. Serve with rice or noodles.
