  • 1 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 Large Egg White
  • Vegetable Oil (for deep frying)
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 34 Red Chillies
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼ cup Rice Wine Vinegar
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • Sesame Seeds (optional)
  • Spring Onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Coat beef strips in cornstarch and egg white.
  2. Deep fry beef until crispy, drain on paper towels.
  3. Sauté garlic, ginger, and chillies in oil.
  4. Add soy sauce, vinegar, honey, and ketchup. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Stir in sesame oil.
  6. Toss crispy beef with sauce.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions, serve hot.

Notes

Adjust chilli amount for desired heat. Use honey garlic sauce for milder flavor. Add orange marmalade and sesame oil for a citrus twist. Serve with rice or noodles.
