Ingredients
Scale
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk (1 can)
- 24 ounces semi-sweet, dark, or milk chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter or coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 2 cups roughly chopped walnuts, almonds, or pecans (roasted or raw)
- Optional: ½ cup dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, or apricots)
- Optional: ½ cup chopped chocolate chunks (semi-sweet or dark)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides for easy removal.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter (or coconut oil). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract and salt.
- Gently fold in mini marshmallows, nuts, and optional mix-ins (dried fruit or chocolate chunks).
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly. Press down gently for an even surface.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Once set, lift the fudge out using parchment paper overhang and cut into squares.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature. Enjoy!
Notes
For extra richness, use dark chocolate. To make a nut-free version, simply omit the nuts and add more marshmallows or dried fruit. Store fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or refrigerate for up to 4 weeks.
