Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes until tender, drain, and mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
  2. Brown ground beef in oil, drain excess grease.
  3. Sauté onion and garlic in the same skillet.
  4. Sprinkle flour, cook briefly, and gradually whisk in beef broth.
  5. Add Worcestershire sauce and thyme. Simmer until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve gravy over mashed potatoes.
