Spicy Korean Gochujang Beef Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef Sirloin or Ribeye
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 Yellow Onion
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 8 oz Noodles
  • ¼ cup Gochujang Paste
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • ¼ cup Water
  • Sesame Seeds (optional)
  • Sliced Green Onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles al dente, drain.
  2. Whisk together Gochujang paste, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, sesame oil, and water.
  3. Stir-fry beef in oil until browned.
  4. Stir-fry bell pepper and onion in the same skillet.
  5. Add broccoli, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry briefly.
  6. Return beef to skillet, add sauce, and stir-fry until thickened.
  7. Add noodles, toss to coat, and serve.

Notes

Increase Gochujang and add chili flakes for extra spice. Reduce Gochujang and increase honey for milder flavor. Add vegetables for variety. Use different noodles for variation.
