- 4 pieces Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts Approximately 1.5 to 2 pounds total.
- 6 ounces Stuffing Mix Your favorite stuffing mix.
- 1 cup Low-Sodium Chicken Broth
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Melted.
- 1 medium Onion Finely chopped.
- 1 stalk Celery Finely chopped.
Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
Garnish
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley Chopped, for garnish.
Instructions
- Chop the onion and celery finely to ensure they cook evenly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the stuffing mix with the chopped onion and celery. Stir well.
- Pour in the chicken broth and melted butter. Mix until the stuffing is well moistened.
- Spray the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom in a single layer.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, dried thyme, and black pepper over the chicken breasts.
- Spoon the prepared stuffing mixture over the chicken breasts evenly.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Cook for 4 to 6 hours.
- Check the chicken's internal temperature to ensure it reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Transfer the chicken to a serving platter and fluff the stuffing with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
