Ingredients
  

Fruits

  • 3 medium Apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji) Washed, cored, and cut into wedges.

Spices

  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon Adjust according to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar Adjust based on desired sweetness.

Oils

  • as needed spray Olive Oil Spray For coating the air fryer basket.

Dipping Sauce

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Chilled before whipping.
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered Sugar For sweetening the whipped cream.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Bean Paste For flavoring the whipped cream.

Instructions
 

  • Wash and core the apples, then cut them into wedges about 1/2 inch thick.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine apple wedges with brown sugar and cinnamon. Toss gently and let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray and place the apple wedges in a single layer.
  • Cook in the air fryer for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • While the apples are cooking, whip the heavy cream in a chilled bowl until it thickens.
  • Add powdered sugar and vanilla bean paste to the whipped cream and continue whipping until soft peaks form.
  • Remove the apple wedges from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes.
  • Serve the warm apple wedges with the whipped cream dipping sauce.

Notes

For variations, consider adding nutmeg, caramel drizzle, or using different fruits.
