Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and rub the seasoning mixture evenly over each thigh.
Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs on the prepared baking sheet, skin side up.
Brush the chicken thighs with half of the barbecue sauce.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Remove from the oven and brush with the remaining barbecue sauce.
Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
