Instructions
Prepare the chicken by shredding it into bite-sized pieces.
Mix the shredded chicken with barbecue sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
Heat the mixture in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until warmed through.
Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and toast if desired.
Assemble the sliders by placing a spoonful of the BBQ chicken mixture on the bottom half of each bun, adding coleslaw and pickles if using.
Top with the other half of the buns and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
These sliders are great for meal prep and can be made ahead of time. Reheat the chicken mixture before assembling.
