  • 4 pieces Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts Each breast should weigh about 6 ounces.
  • 1 cup Finely Grated Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated for best flavor.
  • 1 cup Plain Breadcrumbs Consider using seasoned breadcrumbs for added flavor.
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten, used as a binding agent.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Adds depth and aroma.
  • to taste Salt Essential for flavor.
  • to taste Pepper Essential for flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Drizzled over chicken before baking.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
  • In a shallow bowl, beat the two large eggs until well mixed.
  • In another bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the egg wash, allowing excess to drip off.
  • Transfer the egg-coated chicken to the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the chicken breasts.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
  • Slice and serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese or fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For variations, consider adding red pepper flakes or fresh herbs to the breadcrumb mixture.
