Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, brown sugar, salt, and baking soda.
  • In a separate bowl, mix peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press down firmly.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  • Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out and cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Cut into squares or rectangles and serve.
