Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and granulated sugar. Whisk until well blended.
In a separate bowl, melt the unsalted butter and allow it to cool slightly. Add the milk and mix well.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined.
Fold in the fresh blueberries gently.
Grease a baking dish and pour the batter into it, smoothing the top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
In a mixing bowl, pour in the heavy cream and add the powdered sugar. Beat until stiff peaks form.
Spread a layer of whipped cream over the cooled dessert and garnish with additional blueberries.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Cut into squares and serve chilled.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
