Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Caramelize the onions in a skillet over medium heat for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
Fold in the cooled caramelized onions and parsley.
Add half of the shredded cheese to the mixture and mix gently.
Transfer the mixture to a greased loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
Bake for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For variations, consider adding bell peppers or mushrooms, or using ground turkey instead of beef.
