Lean ground beef for flavor without excess grease.

For sautéing vegetables.
Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and let it warm up.
Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
Add the diced green bell pepper and sauté for another 3 minutes.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add barbecue sauce and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Slice slider buns in half and place bottom halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spoon the sloppy joe mixture onto each bottom bun and add cheese if desired.
Top with the other half of the bun and brush with olive oil or melted butter.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until buns are toasted and cheese is melted.
Let cool for a few minutes, slice into portions, and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat before serving.
