Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until fully combined.
Add milk and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
Pour the batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Carefully pour boiling water over the batter without stirring.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the top is set and slightly crackled.
Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
Scoop out and serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
