Instructions
 

  • 1. Prepare your ingredients. Ensure the beef steak is at room temperature and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • 2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and let it melt.
  • 3. Place the seasoned steak into the skillet and sear each side for about 3-4 minutes.
  • 4. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board.
  • 5. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and sauté the shallots for about 2 minutes.
  • 6. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  • 7. Pour in the beef broth and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • 8. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, allowing the sauce to thicken for 3-4 minutes.
  • 9. Add the chopped parsley to the sauce and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • 10. Slice the rested steak against the grain and arrange on a serving platter.
  • 11. Drizzle the creamy sauce over the steak and garnish with parsley.
