Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast Diced into bite-sized pieces.
  • 8 ounces Pasta Cooked al dente.
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning For flavor and spice.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For a rich and creamy sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter For the sauce base.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper Diced.
  • 1 medium Onion Diced.
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese For extra creaminess.
  • Salt and Pepper To taste.

Instructions

  • 1. Prepare your ingredients: Dice the chicken, chop the onion and bell pepper, and mince the garlic.
  • 2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
  • 3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and melt. Add chicken, seasoning with salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning. Sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  • 4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add onion and bell pepper. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • 5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • 6. Return chicken to skillet, add remaining Cajun seasoning, and mix well.
  • 7. Add drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Add reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
  • 8. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • 9. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan and fresh herbs if desired.
