  • 2 cups Fresh broccoli florets Blanched briefly to maintain color and crunch.
  • 3 cups Uncooked pasta (fusilli or penne) Choose a shape that holds sauce well.
  • 2 cups Prepared Alfredo sauce Store-bought or homemade, rich and flavorful.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese For topping, adds richness and a golden crust.
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese Enhances flavor with a salty, nutty taste.
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic Infuses the dish with aromatic flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For sautéing garlic.

  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs For a crunchy topping.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then transfer to ice water to stop cooking.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Add shredded chicken and blanched broccoli to the skillet, stirring to combine and heat through.
  • Pour in the Alfredo sauce and stir to coat the chicken and broccoli.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the chicken and broccoli mixture, folding gently to combine.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs on top.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat in the microwave or oven.
