  • to taste pepper Essential for seasoning.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Creates a luxurious texture.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Adds depth to the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions

  • Start by preparing your chicken. Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Cut them into strips or bite-sized pieces to ensure even cooking.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, season the chicken pieces with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Make sure all pieces are well-coated in the seasoning.
  • Carefully place the seasoned chicken in the skillet in a single layer, being cautious not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a plate and cover it with aluminum foil to keep it warm while you prepare the sauce.
  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the chicken broth. Use a wooden spoon to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan, as this will enhance the flavor of your sauce.
  • Allow the broth to simmer for about 2-3 minutes, then slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring continuously. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, allowing it to thicken slightly.
  • Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet, ensuring each piece is coated in the creamy sauce. Let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • Once the sauce reaches your desired consistency, taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. If you prefer a bit more heat, feel free to add an extra pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • Serve the Creamy Chicken Lazone immediately, garnished with fresh chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness.
