Instructions
 

  • Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, garam masala, turmeric, cumin, and salt. Whisk until blended.
  • Add chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, melt butter, then add garlic and ginger. Sauté until fragrant.
  • Add tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes. Then stir in heavy cream and let it simmer.
  • Return chicken to the skillet, stirring to coat with sauce. Simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  • Adjust salt to taste and serve hot, garnished with cilantro.
