Instructions
Gather all ingredients including wonton wrappers, cooking oil, and seasonings.
Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).
Cut the wonton wrappers into strips, about 1-inch wide.
Carefully add a few wonton strips to the hot oil and fry for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Remove the fried wonton strips with a slotted spoon and transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
While still hot, season the strips with salt and any optional seasonings.
Repeat the frying process with the remaining wonton strips.
Let the strips cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces or as a garnish for salads and soups.
