Instructions
1. Begin by preparing the chicken. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil and the Southwestern spice mix. Whisk until well blended.
3. Coat the chicken breasts in the oil-spice mixture and let marinate for 15-30 minutes if time allows.
4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated chicken. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked.
5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into thin strips.
6. Assemble the wraps by laying a tortilla flat, adding lettuce, chicken, tomatoes, cheese, avocado, sour cream, and cilantro.
7. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll tightly from the bottom up. Optionally, place seam-side down in the skillet for a crispy finish.
8. Slice the wraps in half diagonally and serve immediately.
Notes
For variations, consider adding jalapeños for spice, black beans for nutrition, or using different proteins like shrimp or beef.
