Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until mixed.
Cream the softened butter with the sugar mixture until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Gradually pour in the milk while mixing on low speed until smooth.
Fold in the chopped nuts and chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
