  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt A pinch
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips Semisweet
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter Cups Chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan by greasing it lightly with butter or lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.
  • Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar to the melted butter, stirring until well combined.
  • Allow the mixture to cool slightly for about 5 minutes.
  • Crack the eggs into a separate bowl, beating them lightly before adding to the butter and sugar mixture.
  • Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, folding gently with a spatula until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped peanut butter cups.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before lifting them out and slicing.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally drizzled with chocolate or served with ice cream.
