Marinara Sauce

  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce For cooking and serving the meatballs.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken and breadcrumbs.
  • Add Parmesan cheese to the mixture.
  • Crack the egg into the bowl.
  • Incorporate minced garlic and chopped parsley.
  • Sprinkle in salt and pepper.
  • Mix all ingredients until just combined.
  • Portion out the mixture and roll into balls.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Heat marinara sauce in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Transfer cooked meatballs to the skillet and coat with sauce.
  • Simmer meatballs in sauce for 5-10 minutes.
  • Let meatballs rest before serving.
  • Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan or parsley.

Notes
