Cream Cheese Filling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare a muffin tin by lining it with paper liners or greasing it.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Whisk until well blended.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: sugar, eggs, milk, and oil until smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently.
  • In another bowl, mix cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth for the filling.
  • Spoon about a tablespoon of muffin batter into each muffin cup.
  • Add a dollop of cream cheese filling on top of the batter.
  • Top with another tablespoon of batter, covering the filling completely.
  • Sprinkle extra cinnamon on top of each muffin.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
