  • 1 pound Chicken Breast Boneless, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 8 ounces Mushrooms Fresh, sliced.
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth Low-sodium.
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Flour All-purpose.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Unsalted.

  • for garnish Parsley Fresh, chopped.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare your ingredients: chop the chicken, slice the mushrooms, and finely chop the onion and garlic.
  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until translucent, about 4-5 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Incorporate the chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to coat evenly.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Allow to thicken.
  • Reduce heat to low and stir in the sour cream. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with parsley and serve over noodles, rice, or potatoes.

Notes

For variations, consider adding vegetables like spinach or using different types of mushrooms.
