Instructions
Prepare your ingredients: chop the chicken, slice the mushrooms, and finely chop the onion and garlic.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until translucent, about 4-5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
Incorporate the chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to coat evenly.
Pour in the chicken broth, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Allow to thicken.
Reduce heat to low and stir in the sour cream. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with parsley and serve over noodles, rice, or potatoes.
