Instructions
 

  • Prepare the fresh pineapple by cutting off the top and bottom, then slicing down the sides to remove the skin. Dice the flesh into small pieces.
  • Finely chop the red onion and add it to a large mixing bowl.
  • Seed and mince the jalapeño pepper, then add it to the bowl.
  • Chop the red bell pepper and add it to the mixture.
  • Chop the fresh cilantro and add it to the bowl.
  • Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture and add a pinch of salt.
  • Gently mix all ingredients together, ensuring even distribution.
  • Let the salsa rest for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  • Serve with tortilla chips, grilled meats, or as a topping for tacos.
