Fresh Strawberry Cotton Candy Salad

- 2 cups Fresh Strawberries Hulled and sliced.
- 1 cup Cotton Candy Use a variety free of artificial colors.
- 1 cup Whipped Cream Homemade or store-bought.
- 1 handful Mint Leaves Finely chopped.
- 1-2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar To taste, depending on sweetness of strawberries.
Instructions
- Rinse strawberries under cold water, hull, and slice them.
- Place strawberries in a mixing bowl and sprinkle with sugar. Toss gently and let macerate for 10-15 minutes.
- If using homemade whipped cream, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Set aside if using store-bought.
- Gently fold whipped cream into the macerated strawberries.
- Incorporate cotton candy just before serving, being careful not to dissolve it.
- Garnish with chopped mint leaves and serve immediately.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh as the cotton candy will dissolve over time.
