Instructions
Begin by preparing your ingredients. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, mince the garlic, and grate the Parmesan cheese.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the chicken pieces to the skillet, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook for approximately 5-7 minutes until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well to combine.
Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet, stirring continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes creamy.
When the pasta is al dente, drain it and add it directly to the skillet with the creamy chicken sauce. Toss the pasta gently in the sauce.
Let everything simmer together for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the dish.
Serve immediately in bowls.
Notes
For variations, consider adding seasonal vegetables or using different types of pasta.
