Instructions
Gather all your ingredients and equipment.
In a microwave-safe bowl, add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and heat them in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted and smooth.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
Allow the melted chocolate to cool slightly before adding it to the cream cheese mixture. Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
Gently fold in the whipped topping using a spatula until just combined.
Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and spread it out smoothly.
Sprinkle the chocolate cookie crumbs evenly over the top.
