  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  • Add granulated sugar and brown sugar to the mashed bananas, mixing until well combined.
  • Incorporate the melted unsalted butter into the banana mixture and stir until uniform.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  • While baking, prepare the brown butter frosting by melting unsalted butter in a saucepan until golden brown.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, vanilla bean paste, and milk. Gradually add brown butter, whisking until smooth.
  • Once brownies are cooled, spread the frosting generously over the top.
  • Let the brownies set for 15-20 minutes before cutting into squares.
