Instructions
 

  • 1. Activate the yeast by combining warm water and active dry yeast in a small bowl. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  • 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Mix well.
  • 3. Pour the yeast mixture and olive oil into the flour mixture. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  • 4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • 5. Shape the dough into a ball, place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  • 6. Prepare the buffalo chicken mixture by combining shredded chicken with buffalo sauce in a medium bowl.
  • 7. Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangular shape about 1/2 inch thick.
  • 8. Grease a baking sheet and place the rolled-out dough on it.
  • 9. Create dimples in the dough with your fingers, then spread the buffalo chicken mixture over it.
  • 10. Sprinkle cheddar cheese and green onions on top.
  • 11. Cover and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.
  • 12. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Drizzle olive oil and season with black pepper before baking.
  • 13. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  • 14. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
