Instructions
Gather all your ingredients on a clean countertop.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, ground ginger, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
Set the filling aside to marinate for about 15 minutes.
Prepare the wonton wrappers by laying them out and covering with a damp cloth.
Heat cooking oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
Take a wonton wrapper and spoon about 1 tablespoon of the marinated chicken filling into the center.
Fold the wrapper in half diagonally and press the edges to seal.
Repeat the filling and sealing process with remaining wrappers and filling.
Fry the wonton tacos in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
Remove fried wontons and drain on paper towels.
Arrange on a serving platter and garnish with chopped cilantro.
Serve immediately while warm.
