Instructions
1. Prepare your workspace by gathering all ingredients and equipment.
2. In a medium saucepan, combine butter and sweetened condensed milk over low heat, stirring gently until melted.
3. Add chocolate chips to the saucepan and stir until fully melted and smooth.
4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla flavoring and sea salt until well mixed.
5. Fold in any optional mix-ins if desired.
6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
7. Allow to cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
8. Once set, lift the fudge out of the dish using parchment paper and cut into squares.
