  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk 14 ounces
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips Semi-sweet or milk chocolate
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter One stick, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Flavoring Optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fine Sea Salt

  • 1 cup Chopped Nuts or Dried Fruits Optional, for added texture and flavor

Instructions
 

  • 1. Prepare your workspace by gathering all ingredients and equipment.
  • 2. In a medium saucepan, combine butter and sweetened condensed milk over low heat, stirring gently until melted.
  • 3. Add chocolate chips to the saucepan and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  • 4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla flavoring and sea salt until well mixed.
  • 5. Fold in any optional mix-ins if desired.
  • 6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  • 7. Allow to cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  • 8. Once set, lift the fudge out of the dish using parchment paper and cut into squares.
  • 9. Enjoy your fudge or store leftovers in an airtight container.
