Instructions
1. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
2. Coat the chicken pieces with cornstarch and let sit for a few minutes.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the chicken until golden brown.
4. Remove chicken and drain on paper towels.
5. In the same skillet, stir-fry bell peppers and onion for 2-3 minutes.
6. Prepare the sauce by whisking together sugar, vinegar, ketchup, and soy sauce.
7. Add garlic and pineapple to the skillet, cooking for an additional minute.
8. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, stirring to coat.
9. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
10. Serve hot and enjoy!
