Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, and lemon juice. Whisk until well blended.
  • Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or zip-top bag and pour marinade over them. Ensure each fillet is coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking, or heat a skillet over medium-high heat for pan-searing.
  • Remove salmon from marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Season with salt and pepper.
  • If baking, place salmon skin-side down on a lined baking sheet and pour remaining marinade over. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  • If pan-searing, cook salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes until crispy, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove salmon from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
  • Drizzle remaining glaze over salmon and garnish with chives or parsley before serving.

Notes

For variations, consider adding red pepper flakes for heat or using different herbs in the marinade.
