Instructions
In a bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, and lemon juice. Whisk until well blended.
Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or zip-top bag and pour marinade over them. Ensure each fillet is coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking, or heat a skillet over medium-high heat for pan-searing.
Remove salmon from marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Season with salt and pepper.
If baking, place salmon skin-side down on a lined baking sheet and pour remaining marinade over. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
If pan-searing, cook salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes until crispy, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
Remove salmon from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
Drizzle remaining glaze over salmon and garnish with chives or parsley before serving.
Notes
For variations, consider adding red pepper flakes for heat or using different herbs in the marinade.
