  • 8 ounces cream cheese Adds richness and creaminess to the sauce.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix Brings a zesty flavor profile.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Helps to keep the chicken moist.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For a cheesy topping that melts beautifully.
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped Provides a fresh and vibrant garnish.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.

Instructions
 

  • Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of your Instant Pot.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the chicken.
  • Pour the chicken broth over the seasoned chicken.
  • Add the cream cheese on top of the chicken and broth.
  • Seal the Instant Pot lid and set the valve to sealing. Select the 'Manual' or 'Pressure Cook' setting and set the timer for 15 minutes.
  • Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes before performing a quick release.
  • Carefully remove the lid and shred the chicken directly in the pot using two forks.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper if needed and serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For variations, consider adding diced jalapeños for spice or swapping ranch seasoning for Italian seasoning.
