  • 6 large Eggs Aim for large eggs for optimal results.
  • 1 cup Water Needed to create steam for cooking.
  • 1 bowl Ice Water For shocking the eggs after cooking.

Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients: large eggs, at least 1 cup of water, and a bowl filled with ice water.
  • Pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of the Instant Pot.
  • Place the trivet or egg rack inside the Instant Pot.
  • Carefully arrange the eggs on the trivet.
  • Secure the Instant Pot lid and set the valve to sealing position.
  • Select the 'Pressure Cook' setting and set the timer for 5 minutes.
  • Allow the Instant Pot to naturally release pressure for 5 minutes, then switch to venting position.
  • Transfer the eggs to the ice water bath using tongs.
  • Let the eggs sit in the ice water for about 5-10 minutes.
  • Once cooled, gently tap each egg on a hard surface and peel under running water.
  • Enjoy your perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs!

For variations, consider adding seasonings like salt, pepper, or using the eggs for deviled eggs or egg salad.
