Instructions
Gather all your ingredients: large eggs, at least 1 cup of water, and a bowl filled with ice water.
Pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of the Instant Pot.
Place the trivet or egg rack inside the Instant Pot.
Carefully arrange the eggs on the trivet.
Secure the Instant Pot lid and set the valve to sealing position.
Select the 'Pressure Cook' setting and set the timer for 5 minutes.
Allow the Instant Pot to naturally release pressure for 5 minutes, then switch to venting position.
Transfer the eggs to the ice water bath using tongs.
Let the eggs sit in the ice water for about 5-10 minutes.
Once cooled, gently tap each egg on a hard surface and peel under running water.
Enjoy your perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs!
Notes
For variations, consider adding seasonings like salt, pepper, or using the eggs for deviled eggs or egg salad.
