Instructions
Pat the brisket dry and season with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in a skillet and sear the brisket for 4-5 minutes on each side.
Remove brisket and sauté onions until translucent.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
Pour in beef broth and deglaze the pan.
Return brisket to the pot, cover, and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
Remove brisket and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
Mix BBQ sauce with remaining broth and let it thicken.
Slice brisket against the grain and assemble sandwiches with sauce, pickles, and coleslaw.
Serve warm and enjoy!
