Ingredients
  

Vegetables

  • 2 medium Cucumbers Diced, choose fresh and firm cucumbers.
  • 2 medium Tomatoes Diced, ripe tomatoes add juiciness.
  • 1 medium Red Onion Finely chopped, soak in cold water for milder flavor.
  • 1 piece Green Chili Finely chopped, adjust based on heat tolerance.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro Leaves Chopped, can substitute with parsley.
  • 1 piece Lemon Juice of one lemon for acidity.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Enhances flavors of the vegetables.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly ground for warmth.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chaat Masala Optional, adds tangy flavor.

Instructions
 

  • Wash all vegetables thoroughly and pat dry.
  • Dice cucumbers and tomatoes into small pieces.
  • Finely chop the red onion and drain if soaked.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, green chili, and cilantro.
  • Squeeze lemon juice over the mixture and add salt and black pepper.
  • Gently toss the ingredients together without mashing.
  • Let the salad sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
  • Serve in a bowl or on plates, garnished with cilantro.
