Instructions
Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
Crush the pretzels into small pieces using a food processor or rolling pin.
In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and brown sugar. Stir until evenly coated.
Press the pretzel mixture firmly into the prepared baking pan.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sweetened condensed milk and remaining brown sugar. Stir until smooth and bubbling.
Pour the caramel over the pretzel base and spread evenly.
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel layer and spread evenly. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
Remove from the pan using parchment overhang and slice into bars.
Serve and enjoy!
