  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled sausage Use your preferred type of sausage.

  • 1 tablespoon cooking spray or butter For greasing the baking dish.

Instructions
 

  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  • In a large mixing bowl, crack 12 large eggs and whisk until fully combined.
  • Add 2 cups of milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the eggs and whisk until blended.
  • Cut the bread into cubes and add to the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for 10-15 minutes.
  • Prepare the vegetables and meat by dicing bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes, and cooking the sausage.
  • Fold in the cooked sausage, diced vegetables, and half of the shredded cheese into the egg mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
  • Cover with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 45-50 minutes until set and golden brown.
  • Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
