Instructions
Gather all ingredients and tools needed.
Rinse tomatoes, cut in half, remove seeds, and dice.
Peel and finely chop the red onion, add to the bowl.
Remove seeds from jalapeño, mince, and add to the bowl.
Chop cilantro leaves and mix into the bowl.
Squeeze lime juice over the mixture and add salt.
Gently fold all ingredients together without mashing the tomatoes.
Let the salsa sit for at least 15 minutes to meld flavors.
Serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
