Instructions
Begin by preparing your potatoes. Rinse them under cold water, peel, and cut into even strips, about ¼ inch thick.
Soak the potato strips in a large bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the dried potato strips with olive oil and toss until evenly coated.
Season the fries with salt and black pepper, and any additional seasonings you prefer. Toss again to distribute.
Place the seasoned fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Once golden brown and crispy, remove the fries from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
