Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the mashed bananas and egg to the mixture and mix until well combined.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips gently using a spatula.
Drop rounded balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
